Pine Hollow Club

About a year and a half ago we discovered that the Pine Hollow club was doing construction to one of their tennis courts which lines 7 homes ranging from 30 ft to 100 ft away. When I asked the groundskeeper Brett, what was going on he replied to me that they’re refacing the tennis court, later to find out that Brett has a blog where he was excited about the new pickle ball courts that are coming to the Pine Hollow club. Obviously, Brett was hiding it from all of us because they knew that would be a problem with all the neighbors.Since we discovered this, Brett has stopped answering our phone calls. We don’t have an issue with people wanting to get out and exercise and play a game and have a great time but don’t do it at other peoples expense . They draw a big rowdy crowd Monday - Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM and the noise of the Pickle ball makes reaches up to 70 dB. It has taken away our quiet living that were accustom to here in Oyster Bay and has taken away our ability to enjoy our outdoor home life. We have contacted the manager Burak Meyveci numerous times through phone calls, emails, and in person meetings. He is aware of the situation and he has done nothing to fix it. Not one adjustment has been made on his part. Lucky for us The town of Oyster Bay and it’s officials stepped in and is now ready to help us. The new ownership is aware of this and chooses not to do anything about it, they truly are classless.

Absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding. My husband and I were married 11/9/19 and we still cannot get over how fabulous every aspect of our wedding was. Emma Meola is truly amazing. She handled everything from start to finish. She made sure everything was perfect -the biggest to smallest details. Olga our bridal attendant was the best. I still cannot get over the level of service she provided us with from the moment we arrived ( 10am) until the moment we left (after midnight). She made sure I was taken care of and never left my side the entire day and night! She is wonderful and so kind. I would not have made it through the day without her. Our guests are still raving about the food, service and the stunning setting. It truly is a one of a kind location. We could not be happier!

The pine hollow country club is not a good corporate and community citizen in the town of oyster bay. This entity’s management continues to make adjustments to the property without filing for the proper permits and routinely ignores the grievances of its private neighbors regarding property maintenance, noise, and general common decency. There is a significant level of arrogance and entitlement as the management team clearly does not believe the rules apply to them. This management team gives its club and by extension its members and owners a bad name. I hope action is taken by its members and owners to correct the mismanagement. They have built illegal Pickle ball courts just feet away from neighboring homes. The disturbance has been brought the manager Buraks Attention over a year ago and no action has yet been taken.We have spoken with the Town and are waiting for action.

Pine Hollow was the absolute best venue for our wedding. The staff, the ambiance, the decor, and the food were all top notch and we can’t recommend it enough. New management and the renovations have transformed the club into bliss and beauty. Don’t think twice, especially when they have someone no other venue can compete with… Gary Schneider How can we even begin to describe the wonders of Gary. Caring, attentive, supportive, humorous, energetic, loving, and an all around perfect guide and partner for our special wedding day and every aspect leading up. Gary made us feel comfortable and confident every step of the way, even when the stress and anxieties took over. His immense knowledge and experience left no detail untouched. Not only did he support us, Gary also made sure our families were happy and heard. I can’t recommend Gary enough. Without him, our wedding experience wouldn’t have been the same. Now, there’s also Tara. Tara is the epitome of perfection in every way. A true knight in shining armor ready at a whim for anything and everything. Bridal attendant extraordinaire, she was there from dusk till dawn with a gleaming smile and positivity to match. 11/10 - don’t hesitate, Gary and Tara are the best in the business.

The club illegally built their pickleball courts without permits and variances from the town. In addition, they have set unreasonably early and late playing times which the members routinely ignore and play outside of with no enforcement. Neighbors are consistently subjected to screams of profanity and individuals exposing themselves to urinate in our backyards. Community members are pursuing legal action to fully remove all of the unpermitted structures on the premises, so beware if they are selling this to you as a benefit that is likely to be taken away in the near term. As a member of other country clubs in the area, I would be embarrassed to be associated with this club and it’s new ownership.

We are residents of Oyster Bay , Myself along with all of our neighbors are being disturbed on a daily basis from morning to night by The Pickle ball play of the Pine Hollow Cub. This is not the right location for such a noisy sport to be played. We heard that the club was sold and the new owners are allowing the inmate to run the asylum. In addition the maintenance crew starts working with their noisy machines from 6 am on a daily basis. I hope the town officials put a stop to this.
